The Egyptian telecommunications company we, the first integrated operator of telecommunications and Information Technology Services in Egypt, announced its cooperation with Huawei, the world leader in the field of ICT solutions, to launch the fifth generation “5G” services on the sidelines of the Barcelona International Conference (MWC 2024), to showcase the latest and greatest products of mobile technology.
This partnership is in line with Telecom Egypt’s ongoing efforts to enhance its digital experience and provide innovative solutions and services to its customers by taking advantage of the fifth generation network.the fifth generation 5G networks will provide faster internet speed, more reliable connections, less latency compared to its predecessors, and wider bandwidth, enhancing the overall customer experience by connecting easily, especially during periods of high consumption.
Under this cooperation, Huawei will introduce its latest network solutions including 5G wireless network, 5G service-oriented core network and 5G turnkey transport network. these advanced solutions aim to enable adaptation to 5G technology , and make the most of the possibilities of this innovative technology.
The fifth generation 5G networks will also enable Telecom Egypt to provide innovative solutions and services targeting various sectors and industries that require quick decision – making, including manufacturing, telehealth, education, in addition to enhancing the capabilities of the Internet of Things (IoT).
In cooperation with Telecom Egypt, Huawei has established fifth-generation sites in vital areas in Egypt, using the latest international wireless technologies from Huawei, which led to achieving the maximum data upload speed per second (Throughput), in accordance with the theoretical rate, according to the available frequency.
