Nigeria and Saudi Arabia to collaborate on LPG accessibility

Nigeria and Saudi Arabia have launched the National Human Capacity Training Program for the Adoption of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG).

Led by Saudi Arabia’s Oil and Sustainability Program through its Clean Fuel Solution for Cooking Initiative and in collaboration with Nigeria’s Ministry of Petroleum Resources, the program will lead to the joint-development of micro-distribution points for LPG through Nigeria’s Edo State.

The program will also establish training facilities for local communities, concurrently supplying LPG to populations vulnerable to health risks associated with burning wood or coal for cooking fuel.
