Housing & Development Bank achieves EGP 6.5 billion in consolidated profits during 2023

During the past year, the combined financial indicators of the housing and reconstruction bank showed that the bank’s profits increased by 141% year-on-year.

The bank explained in a statement to the Egyptian Stock Exchange, today, that it achieved profits of 6.56 billion pounds during 2023, compared to profits of 2.72 billion pounds in 2022.

Interest income increased to EGP 17.01 billion by the end of 2023, compared to EGP 10.02 billion in 2022.

During 2023, the bank achieved a net profit of EGP 6.03 billion, compared to a net profit of EGP 2.25 billion during the previous year.
The bank’s interest income increased during the nine months to EGP 12.03 billion, compared to EGP 7.05 billion in the comparative period of 2022.

It is noteworthy that the reconstruction and Housing Bank achieved profits of 4.75 billion pounds during the period from January to September 2023, compared to profits of 1.99 billion pounds in the comparative period last year.

The bank achieved an independent profit of 4.41 billion pounds during the period from January to September 2023, compared to a profit of 1.75 billion pounds in the comparable period last year.
