Bitcoin rises to $46,700 at its highest level in two years

The cryptocurrency Bitcoin jumped 5.6%, reaching $46,700, its highest level since March 2022.
The price of the digital currency Bitcoin reached its highest level since March 2022, rising by 5.6% to reach $46,700, after BlackRock, Arc and several other potential issuers of exchange-traded funds submitted revised forms in what analysts see as a final push to introduce investment products.

This comes after Bitcoin rose by approximately 160% during the year 2023, pending approval of the applications by the US Securities and Exchange Commission.
The virtual digital currency reached approximately $69,000 in November 2021, its highest level ever.

“The volatility in the markets earlier last week appears to have given way to a sideways trend, as everyone seems to be in a waiting pattern to see what happens with Bitcoin ETF orders,” said Bartosz Lipinski, CEO of Cube.Exchange.
